Wrap Text collects no personal data. None. Zero. We don't know who you are, and we like it that way.
The Short Version
Wrap Text is a free Canva app that runs entirely in your browser. It does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. There is no server-side component. There are no analytics. There are no cookies. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing to opt into.
Data We Collect
None. Specifically:
- No personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
- No usage data or analytics
- No cookies or tracking pixels
- No device information or browser fingerprinting
- No IP addresses
- No telemetry of any kind
How the App Works
Wrap Text runs entirely client-side within Canva's sandboxed app iframe. When you use the App:
- Your image is processed in your browser's memory to detect its silhouette
- Text layout is calculated in your browser using the Canvas API
- Text elements are placed on your Canva design through Canva's SDK
- Nothing leaves your browser. No data is sent to any server we operate.
Third-Party Services
Wrap Text does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only third party involved is Canva itself, whose platform hosts the App. Your use of Canva is governed by Canva's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Wrap Text does not set any cookies. We do not use local storage, session storage, or any other browser storage mechanism.
Children's Privacy
Since Wrap Text collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. The App is accessed through Canva, which has its own age requirements and policies.
Data Retention
There is no data to retain. When you close the App, nothing persists. Your designs remain in your Canva account, managed entirely by Canva.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions, we are happy to confirm this in writing.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update it on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Given that the App collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
